I never thought a backpack with wheels would actually work for backpacking, but if I have the website for "Rotate Packer" (TM), which has seen it hit me. You wear a frame that you grab a value of the wheel. You can also go on logs and rocks. I started thinking about what other backpacking innovations waiting to be marketed. Here are some of the things that came to me. Steal these ideas, please.
Inflatable frame backpack
Frame backpacks have often less-folded in the package to the mattresses against the back cushion and support for the load. Why not use part of the package that rests against the back of the bloat. Using the same technology for easy self-inflating sleeping pad, would add only about 6 ounces. The grant could be doubled as foot-bag/pad to sleep.
Also this idea, imagine a bag inflatable, folds out into a sleeping pad. The "frame" would be the bagpad in the shape of "U" for some stiffness in the package. Inflatable bed pads are so light as 14 ounces hours less than 12 ounces and packs the frame, so the combination would probably weigh only 20 oz.
Wax paper food bags
Place backpacking food in wax-paper wrapping instead of plastic. The packages then double as an emergency fire-starter, because the wax will burn paper in general even when wet.
Cushions / Waterbag
If I have to carry more water, I use the plastic bubblesWine in a box. They are light, strong, and I breath the air bag to use as a pillow. For the marketing of a multi-purpose cushion of water container /, it needs only the removable soft cover any
Backpack jacket
Why not a backpack frame with less than a jacket that is part of the sentence? It can be folded to half, and the box would have normal shoulder. When wearing the jacket, but it would be to stabilize the pack, keep warm, and make it easy to move heavyBrush, why not take the simplest things. And 'how to wear a jacket of a large backpack, but with the weight saving and stability that come from a combination of them. It could be called "Pack-It Jacket".
Game backpacking
Print a chess / checkerboard of a jacket or backpack, and you have a driving game that does not weigh anything extra. Great for the tent to wait for hours in the rain. If you do not wear the pieces, stones or pine cones could function asInspectors.
March backpacker ideas and innovations to keep popping into my head as I write this. Most are based on the concept of "dual purpose" items. You can work, others do not, but it's a fun dose of inspiration from a backpack with wheels.
